Due to a Microsoft change, RDC users were temporarily no longer able to export to Excel or attach documents to emails. The Activ8 Development team was able to find a fix to this issue and it has been released.  Thank you fo your patience during this short feature disruption.

Version release and Various Fixes:

Manually Editing Payments in the Checkout screen when the status is “Not Charged” is now allowed.
Creating Inventory Movement Transactions on the POS to adjust the quantity on hand with a negative number now works in a similar way as in Activ8 Desktop and Cloud.
Even Swaps when the amount due adds up to $0.00 now work correctly.
Please note that if you do not want Activ8 Point of Sale automatically updating on your iPads, you must turn off Auto Updates in the iPad’s iTunes and App Store settings.

• Activ8 Desktop release notes

Due to a Microsoft change, RDC users are no longer able to export to Excel or attach documents to emails. You can still email yourself the report you are trying to export from within RDC and you can use Activ8 Cloud to attach files to emails. If and when Microsoft fixes the issue that they produced and we can be sure that security is no longer an issue we will bring back these abilities on RDC. If you have Activ8 Desktop installed on your local machine you will not be affected by this change.

• Activ8 eCommerce and eComm+ release notesThe shopper’s Registration Page can now display checkboxes for opting in/out of Text Messages and Emails. To display these checkboxes on your online shop registration page, contact support@activeclubsolutions.com.

• Fixed Lane 7000 display not clearing after processing an order.
• Fixed an issue with modifying an order on the checkout screen after using Split Check.
• Changed label of Add/Update Printer to Manage Printers.
• Changed label of Add/Update Inventory to Add/Update Products.
• Removed Add Customer button to the right of the name search since this button only cleared the form (a Clear button already exists).
  • Re-labeled the Clear button on Customer screen to read Clear Form.
  • The Save button is now dynamically set to read Add Customer if you are adding a new customer or Update Customer if you are updating an existing customer.
  • Re-labeled the Clear Cache button on the login screen to Update Server with Configuration Changes and moved it to the center of the screen.
  • Re-labeled cancel button on PIN pad to Clear and changed X image to backspace image.
  • When using a Lane 3000/7000 or Link 2500 card reader which allows users to choose a tip on the device. It now displays the sleected tip on the Receipt screen.
  • Employees now can view but not edit Clock In/Out.
  • Closing out a drawer will now load with all zeros instead of displaying the amount used to open the drawer.
  • On Hold dates are now being properly set and cleared.
  • Cancelling out of gift card payment screen was not clearing the payment from memory.

• Splitting a check capabilities from the New Order and Pending Orders screens… READ MORE.

This will allow you to separate a check by line items instead of just splitting the amount of the order on the Checkout screen.

• Worldpay Cloud has been added as another Worldpay option in Activ8 POS settings. With this new integration, our customers using Worldpay as a gateway will be able to purchase and use the Lane 3000, Lane 7000, and Link 2500 (wireless) devices. These new devices will allow your customers to choose a tip directly on the credit card reader removing the need for them to choose the tip on the iPad. The larger Lane 7000 will display the items purchased in the customer’s order.
• Our Canadian customers that have a Worldpay account can now use either the Lane 3000 or Link 2500 devices to process payments. This integration allows the ability to have the readers to display in English or French.
• You now have the ability to send or print a receipt for swaps that result in a refund directly from the checkout screen.
• Fixed pickup location not saving when a different location is selected than the location logged into.

When navigating to the Pending Orders screen it will now default to showing the Shared tab instead of the Local tab.
