Important Update for Activ8 POS on iPads

On Monday, July 27, Activ8 Commerce will be updating our SSL security certificates as part of an industry-wide internet security standard.

If you use Activ8 POS on an iPad (either the iOS app or through your web browser), please verify that your device can be updated to iOS 17.7 or later.

  • ✅ If your iPad supports iOS 17.7 or later, simply install the update.
  • ⚠️ If your iPad cannot be upgraded to iOS 17.7, it will need to be replaced to continue using Activ8 POS after the security update. If your iPad cannot be upgraded, Activ8 POS V2 is also available on supported Android devices using a web browser.

This is an industry-wide security requirement and is not specific to Activ8.
